Saturday with baby girl

You can't see it but this is her Texas Tech dress.  She WILL wear it each Saturday in support of the Red Raiders.  She was talking to me in this pic and smiling and then when the camera comes out, smile goes!  GRRRRR!  I will catch a smile pic soon!  I am trying!

Ty and Abby :)

Ty and Abby enjoy hanging out...even though it looks like she's punching him!  It's my happy thought when I think about the two of them growing up together!  He loves to hold her then he will say "I'm done" when he doesn't want to hold her anymore.  He always asks "Now what is she saying?" and I will make something up.  On this particular day, Ty suggested I teach Abby how to change her own diaper.

First night to sleep semi-swaddled

The last few nights, Abby has been so fussy at bedtime even though she is sleepy.  Tonight we decided to put her to bed semi-swaddled.  As you can see her arms are free but her body is wrapped tight.  I am not expecting much sleep tonight because I am thinking she will wake herself up a bunch of times flailing her arms.  Only time will tell so I am going to bed and we will see what happens.

Squeaky clean

She absolutely LOVES the bath tub!  She has just started to kick and splash so Mommy is just as wet when it's all said and done.  I dread giving her a bath but then during and after I am thankful for the bonding time and the sweet coos and gurgles that she makes when trying to talk to me.  Daddy does a great job of draining the bath and putting stuff away while I whisk Abby away, dry her off, and change her.

Big girl

Abby and Daddy enjoy watching tv together but today she sat in her Bumbo seat.  Daddy snuck off to unload the dishwasher while she sat and looked at her toes.  Everyone said how much we'd love the Bumbo seat and I am a believer now.  It's great!

All dressed up

I realized Abby has tons of cute clothes and all we ever put her in are onesies so today we dressed her up for no particular reason.  Pretty stinkin adorable!!

Decked out in her Texas Tech outfit for the first game of the season!  This IS daddy's favorite outfit and she will be wearing it each and every Saturday!
