Saturday of chores around the house

Today was your basic Saturday.  We did laundry, vacuumed, cleaned the house, etc.  As you can see, Abby helped fold her laundry.  It was a very productive day!  I felt like we got a lot done.  As for this pic below, in the evening when we were preparing Abby for her bedtime routine, she was sticking her tongue out at us.  Now, she's done this before but it was cracking us up because she was sticking it out so far and also trying to make the tongue out noise...hmmm how do I explain it?  Well stick your tongue out and make a noise...that's probably the noise.  Anyway, Donnie and I were crying we were laughing so hard!  I guess you had to be there...LOL

Another successful night unswaddled

Night two, successful sleeping without being swaddled.  Hope this "cured" the wake up at night phase she was going through.

Another first

Tonight we put Abby to sleep in her crib without being swaddled for the first time.  She's been so fussy and waking up several times at night so we thought it was time.  It's a bit nerve wracking when we lay her on her back and she almost immediately rolls over to her tummy.  I find myself wanting to double and triple check on her.  (Because I am cheating and posting this Friday morning, I can tell you she went back to sleeping all night and is actually still sleeping now!)

Hanging out on the big bed

Daddy was in the guest room on out computer and Abby was hanging out on the big bed.  I was not home so I wonder how many times she rolled toward the edge?  She looks so tiny on that huge bed!

This girl loves to roll!  She will be on her tummy and if you look away she flips to her back.  On this day she was playing on this little mat and she rolled completely off of it and was in the middle of the living room!  Then she got tired of being there and rolled back to the mat. 

2 Worn Out Girls

Maybe I need to set her bedtime back so that I can actually make it to put her in bed!  I was worn out and she was too!  Love to sleep with her sleeping in my arms!

Jude

Kind of cheating here...this pic was from Saturday but it did not go with the pumpkin patch theme.  This is Jude and he is about 2 weeks younger than Abby.  His parents are our really great friends that moved from Yukon to Colorado.  It was great to meet him and see his mommy!  Wish we could have seen the rest of the family too.  He was tired and so was Abby after a long day.
