First time to eat cereal

It didn't go great.  I think more ended up on her bib (thank God we put one one her) than in her mouth.  At first she did not understand the concept of the spoon but by the end of the feeding she was opening her mouth to eat the food off the spoon.  It was entertaining for us to watch and we have high hopes for the next time we feed her cereal.

Abby is 3 months old today!!

This sweet baby is now 3 months!  I can't believe it!  Everyone who says "It goes so fast" is right!  It really does go so fast!  I can't believe she's 3 moths old!  Love her so much!

Abby's Bethany Elem. Shower

Today we were given a shower by my wonderful friends at Bethany Elem. School!  Everyone was so generous and thoughtful!  It was a great time.  I am so thankful for such a great place to work and people who are so kindhearted and genuinely happy for Donnie and I and of course Abby.  We feel so blessed!!  Thanks everyone!

Sick girl :(

Our sweet baby girl is sick.  It's her first time to be sick.  She has a fever of 101.4, running nose, and she coughs and sneezes like crazy!  Poor baby!  I feel awful!  I am searching my mind and reviewing my days trying to figure out what we did to get her sick.  The wonderful news is, she is not a fussy baby when sick.  She just lays in my arms (burning up) and dozes in and out.  I hope she's feeling better soon! This pic was when we were taking her temperature.

They really love eachother

Chip has really been a great dog.  You'd think he'd be jealous and act out with Abby's arrival.  HOPE!  He's a good dog and often is laying on the floor near Abby.  It grosses me out but he also likes to give her kisses.  She enjoys it too and just makes the sweetest squeals!  So, I guess they were taking a nap together today.  How sweet!  Chip is a great big brother!

I am cheating...this was taken Saturday but I couldn't post all the cute pics from that day on that day's blog...there would be too many!  Abby can REALLY hold her head up!  She has a lot of strength!

First time in bouncer

Today we put Abby in her bouncer for the first time.  She seemed to enjoy it but it didn't last long.  Her feet barely touch the floor so she really can bounce when she moves her feet!  It's fun to watch her discover new things and listen to the squeals of delight she makes when having a good time.
