Tonight, I decided to give Abby her bath in the big tub. I gave her ALL her bath toys (she usually only gets one) and used the Bumbo for her to sit in. Sadly, the Bumbo floats so I had to hold it down. She loved the big tub and it was fun for me too. She squealed with delight! We will be doing it again REAL soon :)
It's official! Today, Abigail Kay has the last name Ryan! She is legally ours forever and ever. The judge was great! He came off the bench and took pics with us. The crowd was all the friends and family that attended our finalization hearing. There is a picture of us with our lawyer and the Adoption director. The final pic is of Abby sitting in front of the judge's name plaque on his bench. Amazing day!!
So, Abby was given some mango in her mesh feeding thing. She LOOOOOOOOVED it! She ate it and kept going "Mmm" It's fun feeding her "real" food like the food we eat! It's always neat to see her reaction to new tastes.
We bought some bananas for Abby. We gave her slices and she played with them more than eating them. Tonight we mashed them up and fed them to her...and you can see her reaction. These are not the best faces but the only ones we could capture on camera. Not sure why, but she was not loving the mashed bananas. Oh well...they smelled good!
We went to hang out with Stephanie and David. Abby and Henson played and then did some kissing! Yep you heard it right! Too early for both sets of parents to see that happening. We had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves.
Well, it happened today...we went to get Abby from her crib in the morning and she was up on her knees looking at us! It's a GOOOOOOD thing we lowered her crib one level a few days ago.
